| thots of the nightwasnt really in a very gd mood nw. but shall nt talk abt it nw lah.. anyway, was lookin thru some of the blogs.. one particular entry of this blogger caught my attn. i can totally relate very well to wat she wrote. i can jus feel it bcos of wat im goin thru. i think tt explains why i really love to read her bog thou sometimes its really NSFW. haha!!

| the today happeningsprelude: 1st attempt of tiramisu on mon night failed. haha. bcos was talking on phone & my very last step of mixing the cheese & egg yolks together with the whipped cream failed big time due to overwhipping. lol. never notice & ta daa~ GONE! haha. (ps. overwhipping = watery mixture)
the ingredients
the whipped cream. one thing abt this recipe that i dun like is that it goes by grams. which means i have to agar whipped it & weigh to get the right amt of whipped cream. (come to think of it, i think there's extras inside my fridge!)
& the egg yolk + cheese if im nt wrong. over the stove... should be cheese only i guess..
hence, on the day.. after much planning & spending close to $100 on the ingredients, i almost died. heh.
1am: started preparing. took another recipe that gerald recommend instead. the webby is fabulous. i love it. haha.
this recipe is so good & simple to prepare!! no eggs needed!! & no alcohol actually. but i added in thou.
tiramisu done! all within 1hr!!
got extra cream.. so prepared another box for him to bring home...
after that, proceed to prepare my cookie for him. i used the easy way by buying those ready made ingredients. haha! so basically i jus mix it with the butter & it's done! (thou u cant over whisk it. lol.)
ready to bake. my heart shaped cookie. keke.

while i go take pic. haha. very powdery me huh. i should buy a nice pink apron!! keke!!
& im done!! kinda burnt thou. for this batch. hahahaha!
packed it for him too. also gt alot of extras for him to bring back. hahaha!!
5am: finally everything done. went to create my collage & update blog & sleep!!
345pm: Suddenly realise that I should make milkshake too. Haha. & here's the start of the scary 1hr..
- Decided to go down & look for strawberries but dun have. So no choice, walk to Yew Tee to buy cos nv bring ezlink card. Kinda sian actually cos the day before i especially rush to NTUC after class (close at 11pm) to buy the things so that i dun ve to go again. End up, still have to go back. >.<
- Then i wanted to rent movie. I browse for abt 10min & decided on the movie & realise tt card no money. But tt horrible machine dun accept plastic notes! Kinda ridiculous lah.. the company should seriously find ways to update their technology. Anyway, so approach a shop to change the note but they dun want. Went 2 the bread shop & especially buy a bun & managed to change the note. BUT i lost the card. I cun find it at all. It was there 5min ago & ta-daa~ i lost it 5min after!
- Gave up. Head to 7-11 bcos wanted to buy those small cups of ice cream (bcos i dun wanna buy those big tubs frm NTUC). End up, they dun ve any plain flavours! Goodness! No choice, bought the big tub & it's $1.50 more expensive!!!
- Walked back & it starts to drizzle!!!! I dun ve ezlink card = cant take bus. I dun ve umbrella!!!!
- Decided to use the phone & it hang! AGAIN. & of cos~ everything goes back the same cycle for tis lovely phone of mine. Hang-> Cant off-> Take off batt-> Auto Reformated again. & im so used to it that i noe wat settings to change after that. Heh. & thru experiences, i had backup my contacts!! HAHA.
5pm: Okie. & so, my plan was being interupted bcos of that (i plan to start at 430). Rush like madness.

& the mp3!! keke. once again, i have to say how i love the speaker function! lol.
made the milkshake 1st cos wanted it to chill longer..

the sushi rice!! it's so darn tough to prepare lah. btw, this is really a huge bowl!! i gt alot alot left nw. haha!!

haha. he really loves it leh (he said it). he once said that he will love me forever if i can make nice tiramisu. haha. & nw he say it's gd & gt standard. hohoho~~

| Mummy's birthdaylast friday was my mummy's birthday. we went to Jin's Deli @ Tan Qwee Lan St for steamboat... as recommended by my sis.
ps. photos are edited into collages. but im kinda lazy to do & edit.. so i jus put them into collage w/o changing much. haha. sorry. anyway, anyone gt free & easy to use collage software? i dun really like the one im using (picasa) bcos i dun think there's much options & tools for me to use. kinda dead. haha.
resv @ 8pm but we reached at abt 830. So waited til abt 9pm then gt seats... nice bonding as usual~ tok lotsa craps. lol.
we choose tom yum & big bone soup base. the soup was fabulous. i love it. the boss is very nice too. mix the sauces for us. & he uses peanut butter too!!!! hahahahaha!! so nt oni fen~~ anyway the boss's peanut butter + chilli is really gd. btw, the bottom right pic is the shells of prawns & crabs. right in front of dad cos he shelled it for us. (ps. can someone tell me whether i used the right word? shelled? lol. >.<)
the strawberry shortcake tt sis baked. it's really gd. very delicious.. & nicely layered.
the normal singing. haha. shall get nicer photos frm bro soon (cos his cam better ma! haha!)
we gt her an OTO massager. i have yet to try. maybe i should. soon. haha.
anyway that's all. wish mummy great heatth & be her happy grandma soon! haha! nxt yr @ tis time, she will have her grandchild to celebrate with her. hoho. happy ne!

guess wat she's doing?
she's using acrylic paint to draw the french tip!! this is the 1st time i see it bcos usually french tip is straight away use white polish. for them is diff. they uses white acrylic paint + 2 coats of white polishes. they say it will last longer. quite true since acrylic paint last. so im kinda happy abt the french thou it cost $7. ( i usually did it @ $5, cheapest also $2. haha)
& since im at nails.. i repacked my stuff jus now. my trolley gt a new look (upper layer). the rest stays the same cos nt much to pack. haha. it's the same old things like acrylic powder etc..
Left:
- bought a pink tray jus nw so tt the base is hard enuff to keep my polishes. i can no longer use back the old box (on the right) bcos it's too small. on count, i gt abt 20 bottles of OPI. keke. all thanks to crystal. im gonna collect more!! btw, the rest of my nail colors (other brands) are in another box @ the bottom. lazy to take pic. too many bottles. haha. & i oni pack the upper layer bcos tt's where i put the things tt i always use.
- the transparent box keeps all my stones, diamontes for deco purposes
Right:
- Pink box on the right keeps my extra files, aroma oil, quick dry spray etc.
- The black box keeps my normal mani + pedi tools like nipper, remover, files, top & base coat etc.. & that light pink fluffy thing is the toe separator tt MOS gt for me frm Jap.
Hehe! I love my trolley!!
